Why do we offer the 4:1 staff ratio?

The Lighthouse on Florence is excited to offer a 4:1 staff ratio to provide the best care possible for our residents. The small resident-staff-to-resident ratio will allow our experienced staff to perform any act of daily living without feeling rushed. Whether it be an extra minute to select the perfect outfit or promote independence by allowing the residents to be as independent as possible in the ADLS, the small staff-to-resident ratio will allow the extra time needed. The extra time will allow our staff to participate in activities with the residents and ensure their comfort.

What food services are offered?

The Lighthouse on Florence knows and understands the importance of quality food in a home. As we strive to bring a homelike feeling to our residents, we will strive to provide farm-to-table meals as often as possible. All staff will be food-certified and provide an alternative if the family style meal provided is not desired. Residents can request snacks and drinks 24/7. Fresh fruit will always be an option, along with snacks to meet the sweet tooth needs.

How quickly can someone move in?

The Lighthouse on Florence will work with each resident’s unique needs to make the move seamless. The manager will assess a potential resident as soon as 48 hours after the inquiry. This lets you rest assured that a potential resident qualifies to live at our assisted living memory care. Whether you are looking for an immediate move-in or a few months down the road, our luxurious home will accommodate up to 16 residents.

How will residents receive their prescribed medications?

We strive to take as much off the family’s plate as possible as a team. We offer our local pharmacy services that allow the residents to receive their medications directly through the pharmacy and have them delivered to The Lighthouse on Florence. Medications ordered by the residents’ doctors will be filled through the pharmacy, billed to the residents’ insurance, and administered by our staff.

What furniture should a resident bring?

The Lighthouse on Florence offers fully furnished rooms. We know how stressful a move-in can be, so we offer all furnishings, from bed sheets to coffee tables. We also encourage residents to personalize their rooms.

Do you provide holiday and birthday celebrations?
