Meet Terri
Lighthouse on Florence isn’t run by a corporation. A family built it because they couldn’t stop thinking about how memory care should be done.
Terri Carlson is a certified Colorado Assisted Living Administrator, a Residential Assisted Living Specialist (RALS), and QMAP-certified, with more than 30 hours of specialized dementia-care training. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Colorado Assisted Living Association — helping shape the standards that assisted living homes across the state are held to.
But credentials only tell part of the story. Terri built Lighthouse to be the kind of place she’d want for her own family: small enough to feel like home, staffed by people who genuinely care, and grounded in a simple belief that every person deserves to be honored, especially in their most vulnerable season.

Our home features 16 large bedrooms, three living rooms, three kitchens, and plenty of high-end touches throughout. Residents can choose from a variety of accommodation options, including private suites and shared rooms, all equipped with modern amenities to ensure a comfortable and convenient lifestyle. Our senior living home has beautifully landscaped gardens that provide a peaceful outdoor retreat where residents can enjoy nature and socialize with friends and family.

Our network includes a nurse practitioner, med-pass nurse, podiatrist, dentist, home health aides, hospice, wound care specialists, and professionals in physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. We extend invitations to the medical providers of our residents to offer on-site care at our long-term secured memory care facility, and we are fully equipped to accommodate any healthcare professional ensuring personalized care for your loved ones.
